- Job Description
- Develop and implement quality assurance plans to manage and report on the quality of project deliverables, including design, manufacturing, material procurement, construction, installation, and commissioning
- Conduct quality risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
- Review sourcing documents and specifications for quality management, assurance, and control requirements
- Evaluate consultants, contractors, and suppliers for compliance with quality standards and contractual obligations
- Review and approve Supplier Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Conduct audits and inspections of manufacturing facilities, vendor processes, and contractor services
- Ensure the timely submission, review, and acceptance of supplier submittals, including test reports, special process work procedures, and compliance documentation
- Ensure conformance with specifications, safety standards, and industry best practices in construction and installation phases
- Verify and document inspection and test results, ensuring that qualified personnel perform quality reviews
- Identify, track, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), coordinating corrective and preventative actions
- Ensure that field testing, commissioning, and final quality reporting are completed in accordance with project requirements
- Maintain accurate quality assurance records, ensuring alignment with contract quality plans and regulatory requirements
- Develop and oversee document control processes for project quality-related records
- Provide objective evidence of compliance for regulatory audits and internal reviews
- Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- Minimum ten (10) years of experience in quality assurance within the engineering, construction, or utility sectors
- In-depth knowledge of quality management standards, such as ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements in engineering and construction
- Experience with supplier and contractor evaluations, audits, and quality control methodologies
- Proven leadership in managing quality processes for large-scale infrastructure projects
