Start date: April 2026
7/7; 12-hour shifts
Fly-in-fly-out from Edmonton or Calgary hubs
Subject to fitness test and D&A requirements
Responsibilities:
Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections
Calibrating the equipment, securing the area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure
Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities
Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and others
Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards
CGSB Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) certification is considered an asset
Current safety certifications (e.g., Confined Space, H2S Alive, First Aid) are an asset
Capable of making knowledgeable, integrity-based decisions
Strong communication skills with client and maintenance personnel
Ability to travel
Valid Driver's Licence
