GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Mine Electrician to join our Valued Clients team on a remote project in Nunavut. This is a contract position for a two-month project, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety, with significant experience in industrial and mining environments.Responsibilities:Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in an underground and surface mining environment.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues related to heavy equipment, power distribution, and lighting.Ensure compliance with site safety protocols, electrical codes, and operational standards.Complete daily logs and maintenance reports accurately and on time.Qualifications:Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred)Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial or mining electrical workValid CSTS or CSO certificationAbility to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testingPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in remote or fly-in/fly-out locationsFamiliarity with cold climate work environmentsUnderground mine experienceWork Environment:Remote northern mining project with fly-in/fly-out logistics from EdmontonHarsh winter conditions and rugged terrainCamp accommodations and meals provided; safety-focused and team-oriented cultureBenefits:$44.00 per hour with overtime after 8 hours daily and after 40 hours weeklyPaid travel to and from site from EdmontonCamp accommodations and meals fully covered during rotationAccess to GrizzlyTrek’s professional development support and safety trainingComprehensive Benefits Package:
