- Partner with assigned national retail accounts to achieve annual sales revenue and margin targets on a quarterly, semi‑annual, and annual basis.
- Collaborate with retail partners and internal teams to develop account strategies and shared growth plans aligned with corporate objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand assortments, optimize portfolios, and enhance product visibility across brick‑and‑mortar and eCommerce channels.
- Coordinate and support marketing, promotional, and merchandising initiatives that help retailers effectively showcase products.
- Lead and facilitate line reviews, promotional reviews, and strategic business reviews, aligning customer needs with category strategies.
- Build and maintain strong, trust‑based relationships with account stakeholders and third‑party selling partners.
- Partner with Sales Leadership to develop forecasts, track performance, and communicate key initiatives.
- Initiate and lead margin improvement activities through collaboration with Finance, Marketing, Logistics, and Customer Service teams.
- Gather and share insights on market trends, competitive activity, and customer behavior using POS data, store visits, and industry engagement.
- Support customer trade shows and events, including program coordination and account execution.
- Serve as a key connection point between customers and internal teams, sharing insights that inform product, marketing, and operational strategies.
- Apply strong financial acumen to identify opportunities that benefit both the customer and the business.
- Identify and recommend continuous improvement opportunities across processes, assortment strategy, and account execution.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 5–7 years of experience selling to national retail accounts.
- Strong background in consumer durables, FMCG, or building materials preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of POS metrics with demonstrated ability to use data to drive sales growth.
- Proven track record of identifying, qualifying, and successfully opening new retail accounts.
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to proactively manage customer priorities.
- Ability to travel up to 50%, including overnight travel.
- MBA or advanced degree in a related field.
- Experience supporting co‑op retail accounts and field sales organizations.
- Experience managing assortment strategy, trade spend, and promotional planning.
