Industrial Electrician

- Perform routine testing of electrical systems to ensure efficiency and reliability
- Conduct scheduled maintenance on electrical equipment and devices
- Clean electrical contacts, circuit boards, and related components
- Upgrade outdated wiring and electrical devices as needed
- Assist with tasks related to electrical systems and controls
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in machinery, systems, and fixtures
- Identify and correct electrical faults to minimize downtime
- Remove and replacedefective electrical components as required
- Installnew machinery and ensure proper electrical setup
- Educate production staff on preventative maintenance best practices
- Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance reports and documentation
- Recommend future electrical repairs and system improvements
- Create and submit requests for necessary electrical parts and supplies
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that supports teamwork and mutual respect
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager
- Red Seal Certification (Interprovincial Qualification) is required
- Minimum 5 years of experiencein an industrial manufacturing environment is required
- Experience with PLC systemsis an asset
- Experience with work planning and continuous improvementis an asset
- Strong manual dexterityand electrical aptitude
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
- Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve electrical malfunctions
- Comfortable working under tight deadlineswith minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solvingand critical thinking skills
- Demonstrates a solid understanding of risk management
- Willingness and ability to work flexible shifts
- Strong mathematical skills
