- Responsible for confirming readiness and timely preparation of daily/weekly/monthly billing by gathering documentation and entering information into the system;
- Responsible for follow up with Project Managers on missing/inconsistent billing information & accuracy required for invoicing;
- Responsible for maintaining accuracy of Installation and Decor PO requests with clients;
- Responsible for maintaining PO request trackers;
- Perform a variety of clerical and other duties as assigned;
- Works under the close supervision of a team lead or supervisor;
- Work as part of a team, follow and adhere to Transcontinental’s code of ethics and participate in continuous improvement efforts;
- Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health & Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Security and Company policies and procedures;
- Work in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act of Ontario, the Workplace Safety Insurance Act, and all other applicable legislated, environmental, health & safety regulations.
- Post-secondary education with a minimum of two (2) years in client facing role;
- Billing experience is an asset but not required;
- Ability to identify process improvements to the current billing procedure;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Working knowledge of billing procedures;
- Excellent data entry skills;
- Ability to efficiently perform billing activities;
- Strong customer service skills;
- Excellent objection handling and negotiation skills;
- Able to work efficiently as part of a team as well as independently;
- Strong skills in PC-based software applications, particularly Word and Excel;
- Superior oral and written communications skills and organizational skills;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple jobs simultaneously & managing prioritization of issues daily.
