In addition to this, you will play a key role in our contamination control by contributing to housekeeping duties and maintaining cleanliness in your area.Job Description:Correctly and efficiently preparing parts, including sealing all orifices and other protective measuresCleaning of components using high pressure washerMart, caustic, and/or acid washing a variety of product types without causing damage to partsQualifications:A minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 1 or higher (internal candidates)Strong organizational skills and ability to follow work instructionsAbility to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 poundsMechanical aptitude and background is preferredMust be able to communicate written and spoken English effectivelyExperience cleaning components and high-pressure washing preferredPrevious experience in a heavy-duty equipment facility is preferredA condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respiratorCandidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organizations policies and proceduresNote:This posting is for a static afternoon shift; Monday – Thursday, 10 hours per dayAny future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective AgreementApplicants must apply with either an updated Professional Profile on Workday or attached resume to be consideredWill require successful completion of drug and alcohol testing, a criminal background check, and a medical assessmentHourly Rate: $25.46 - $32.89 / HourUnion Membership: This is a unionized position.
