- Partner with business leaders to define, analyze, and prioritize technology sourcing needs aligned with long-term strategy
- Develop and execute category strategies focused on IT consulting services, software, and related technology spend
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes including RFP development, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award
- Guide cross-functional teams through vendor selection and contract implementation
- Negotiate complex, multi-year, multi-million dollar technology contracts
- Operationalize contracts with business unit contract managers to ensure smooth implementation
- Oversee or support full contract lifecycle management, including renewals and amendments
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues quickly to protect business outcomes
- Provide market intelligence on software vendors, service providers, and technology trends
- Recommend sourcing approaches that improve business processes and go-to-market strategies
- Ensure compliance with sourcing strategies, policies, and public sector procurement procedures where applicable
- Report on category performance and key sourcing metrics
- Build strong internal and external relationships across multiple stakeholder levels
- Mentor and support other supply chain team members
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, business administration, operations, engineering, or related field
- SCMP certification or equivalent supply chain certification required
- 8-10 years of sourcing and contract management experience
- Proven experience leading structured, multi-step strategic sourcing initiatives
- Demonstrated success negotiating complex, high-value technology contracts
- Strong knowledge of software vendors, IT consulting providers, and technology market trends
- Experience working in complex environments with multiple stakeholders; exposure to both private and public sector environments is preferred
- Knowledge of public sector procurement procedures and quality management processes
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP preferred
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to influence without authority and build trusted business relationships
- Comfortable leading change and supporting transformation initiatives
- $65/hr
