- Provide service for on-going client needs, advise on insurance matters, conduct needs assessments, recommend solutions, answer inquiries, conduct care calls and process renewals
- Professionally handle phone inquiries and provide exceptional customer service in a structured call centre setting, resolving issues promptly
- Sell new policies and generate new business for existing or new clients, while retaining the existing book of business
- Contact Underwriters and Adjusters to discuss guidelines and policies
- Prepare documentation for insurers, complete client applications, issue insurance certificates, process changes and review renewals
- Stay updated on underwriting rules and workflow processes.
- Actively engage in training initiatives and participate in community marketing activities.
- High School and/or Post-Secondary Education
- Minimum of 2 years sales experience (previous insurance sales experience preferred but not required)
- Level 1 General license or willing to obtain
- Exposure to Epic is an asset
- Strong customer focus
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities successfully
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and credit check
