- Civil Engineering Technology / Degree program is considered an asset. Candidates with previous asphalt quality control experience will be considered for this role.
- The Lab Technician is responsible for the following tests but not limited to asphalt content determination by asphalt ignition oven, sieve analysis, forming Marshall briquette samples for density determination, maximum theoretical density determination.
- Must be well organized, possess good written, verbal skills and able to manage and prioritize several tasks at one time.
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment is necessary for this position.
- Must be flexible in working long hours including overtime, weekend shifts and possibly night shifts.
- Successful applicant must hold a valid Class 5 driver's license (driving abstract required), must be physically able to lift 30 kgs and meet all safety requirements and adhere to all applicable safety policies.
