This role supports the deployment of a training simulator environment as part of a large-scale digital infrastructure initiative. The simulator will enable training for aircraft ground movement operations, including coordination and traffic management. The position requires hands-on expertise in data center infrastructure and virtualization, with a focus on implementing enterprise-grade systems and integrating them into an existing corporate network.Duties & Responsibilities
- Implement infrastructure solutions within a data center environment
- Deploy and configure enterprise-scale virtual environments
- Support systems and virtualization platforms
- Integrate infrastructure components into an existing corporate network
- Collaborate with internal architecture and infrastructure teams
- Execute implementation tasks based on technical design documentation
- Support workstation and server environments as needed
- 5-7 years of experience in enterprise infrastructure environments
- Experience deploying infrastructure in data center environments
- Experience with enterprise-scale virtualization deployments
- Hands-on experience with low-latency networking equipment (e.g., Cisco Nexus or equivalent)
- Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Experience with Cisco ACI or similar networking frameworks
- Familiarity with storage technologies such as vSAN
- Experience supporting both server and workstation environments
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise organizations
- Relevant infrastructure or networking certifications
This is a 6-month contract position with potential for extension or conversion. The role is primarily onsite in Richmond, BC. Candidates must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
