Apply now!What will your typical day look like?The Senior Manager, Digital Internal Audit (“IA”) will be focused on bringing innovation to Deloitte’s internal audit clients and internal teams. You will manage a diverse team of talented consultants, senior consultants and managers, coaching them to their highest potential while they deliver a variety of digital internal audit needs. This includes drafting proposals and participating in business development efforts to build and generate internal control certification business while interacting with a network of seasoned internal audit practitioners within our client organizations (e.g., Chief Audit Executives, Audit Committees, Chief Financial Officers, Controllers, Manager of Financial Reporting, etc). You will be responsible for providing strategic advice and guidance on matters of analytics, innovation, automation and GenAI. While analyzing and diagnosing client business issues to develop and recommend creative solutions you will employ a structured approach to project management to ensure complete client satisfaction and project profitability. Using your business savviness and communications skills you will build trust and credibility impactful relationships with your clients.Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
  • Designing a digital audit strategy and supporting creation of an audit plan, aligning with the strategic and business objectives of the firm.
  • Supporting financial and operational audits, function governance activities, and managing co-sourced engagements as required. Leading quality improvement activities within the internal audit function.
  • Development of reports or presentations in preparation for risk updates to the Board-level committee.
  • Support digital transformation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and client or team experience.
  • Leveraging knowledge of the Deloitte and professional services landscape and relationships from across the network to add value to our internal audit activities.
  • Lead the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance business processes.
  • Support cross-functional teams to drive AI projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI integration and digital innovation.
About the teamThe Digital Internal Audit team is part of the Innovation, Data and Analytics (ID&A) team in Audit & Assurance at Deloitte. Our ID&A team is focused on bringing innovation to the Audit & Assurance practice and the clients we serve.   • Proven experience in leading digital internal audit, automation and AI projects.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies, machine learning, data analytics and data visualization.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • 7+ years of controls, enterprise risk, or audit experience, including 4+ years of IT or internal audit experience. CPA, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) is required.
  • Demonstrated effective project management skills. Must be able to proactively drive and manage multiple tasks and timelines independently and as a team, in a rapidly evolving environment, and lead an audit from start to finish.
  • Must have strong written communication skills, especially when dealing with senior leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key parties, including senior leaders, with the ability to impact and influence others.
  • Demonstrated strategic and critical-thinking and ability to develop, share and adopt innovative approaches and solutions.
  • Experience with generative AI, data visualization and analytics tools, staffing, and managing engagement economics is an asset.
Total RewardsThe salary range for this position is $95,000 - $179,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
