Job Location: Brucejack CampWorkplace Type: OnsitePay Grade: 1.2Closing Date:About BrucejackOur Brucejack Gold Mine, a high-grade underground mine in beautiful northern British Columbia, is located approximately 65 kilometres north of Stewart. Brucejack is a fly-in/fly-out operation with pick-up points across Western Canada, making it easy for people from different places to join us. We work closely with local First Nations communities including the Nisga’a, Tahltan, Gitanyow, and Gitxsan, to build respectful partnerships and celebrate our shared community.As a member of the Brucejack family, we put your health, comfort, and safety first. The committee also plans holiday decorations, charity raffles, and outdoor events, helping create a warm and friendly community.Your ImpactAs a Mill Refinery Operator, you play a critical role in producing gold safely and efficiently. Your work directly supports operational performance while upholding Newmont’s strong safety and environmental standards.As Part of Our Team You Will
  • Operate shaking tables and smelting furnaces to produce gold dore bars
  • Complete daily inspections and maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and support teams
  • Participate in safety, environmental, and compliance training
  • Contribute to a strong, safety‑first team culture
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
  • Minimum two years of operating experience in a milling environment (gold room experience is a plus).
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to adapt in a fast‑paced, operational setting
  • Relevant technical education is an advantage
Your Work Environment
  • Fly‑in/fly‑out remote camp operation on a 14‑days‑on / 12‑days‑off rotation
  • 12‑hour shifts in variable and sometimes extreme weather conditions
  • Physically active role, including lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Onsite accommodations with private rooms, meals, and recreation facilities

This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia.
