Specializing in both small and large packages for international and domestic export.Job Description● Assemble wood products such as pallets, crates, skids● Pack items for shipping and distribution- PACKAGER ONLY● Install hardware; inspect wood products for conformance to quality standards● Read and interpret instructions to determine specifications and calculate requirements● Be knowledgeable of and follow all company safety policies and procedures● Provide assistance to other activities such as the receiving of materials or cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment● Operate forklifts, hand trucks, and other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods● Operate pneumatic hammers, strapers and other tools as directed● Operate machines or equipment such as compressors, generators, drill presses, table saws, chop saws and cranes as directed● Inspect received goods● Keep work areas neat and tidyQualifications● Must have a valid driver's license and ability to commute to work● Good communications skills● A positive and safe attitude● Be able to follow basic instructions and procedures● A willingness to learn and be involved in the required training● A natural respect for people, property and the environment● Forklift and WMIS certified is an asset● Ability to work night shifts● Ability to work well with others as well as individuallyAdditional InformationWe Offer:
