Your future starts here.PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:The Supervisor Signals & Communication (S&C) Operations ensures the safe and reliable operation of signal and communications systems that keep trains moving efficiently. Based in Moose Jaw SK, this role tests, inspects, and commissions new and existing S&C installations to maintain top-tier performance. It also delivers critical technical data and oversight that support regulatory compliance and operational excellence.POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead and promote continuous improvement in workplace safety
- Approve entry into service for new or modified S&C communication systems
- Manage regulatory requirements and address radio interference issues
- Perform and report on electrical and mechanical testing of S&C equipment
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of equipment installations and testing
- Coordinate activities with maintenance and construction teams to maximize efficiency
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and external partners
- Coach junior S&C employees
- High school diploma
- Minimum 2 years of railway or other relevant experience
- Must have valid driver's license
- Knowledge of S&C standards regulatory requirements equipment principles and circuit designs
- Demonstrated ability in planning prioritizing and executing work with strong problem solving and computer skills
- Effective verbal and written communication leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel across Saskatchewan
