- Lead consolidation of corporate and subsidiary financial results
- Prepare initial drafts of financial statements and MD&A for leadership review
- Support external reporting and disclosure requirements
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data from operations
- Provide technical accounting guidance across the organization
- Support acquisition accounting, including purchase price allocation and integration activities
- Partner with operations finance teams to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Lead the corporate budgeting process and maintain forecasts
- Deliver budget-to-actual analysis and variance reporting
- Assist with corporate tax filings and cross-border tax planning initiatives
- Support treasury activities including cash management and capital planning
- Oversee corporate accounting processes at a supervisory level
- Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance across operations
- Act as the primary liaison between corporate and operations finance teams
- Supervise and support one direct report in accounts payable
- CPA designation or equivalent
- 3 to 7 years of progressive accounting or finance experience
- Mining industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and technical accounting
- Experience working in lean teams with hands-on responsibility
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate financial disclosures and reports
- Exposure to M&A accounting is an asset
- Familiarity with cross-border operations or tax structures is an asset
- Spanish language skills are beneficial but not required
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
- Competitive salary with benefits, including:
- Base salary of approximately $120,000, depending on experience
- Annual bonus target of 15 to 20 percent
