- Under the direction of the Project Manager and Senior Technical Managers, participate in the technical design and implementation of electrical and control system projects
- Participate in the development of design basis documents, specifications, cost estimates, and scopes of work
- Complete as required, cable tray designs, voltage drop calculations, conductor sizing, control/marshaling panel designs, I/O schematics, power distribution, field junction boxes, cable schedules, etc.
- Prepare electrical construction bid documents
- In coordination with Corporate Procurement, select equipment vendors and procure equipment
- Participate in the installation of electrical and control system equipment
- Interface with customers and vendors on technical issues
- Produce detailed design documentation that meets the technical and quality standards of the project requirements.
- Participate in acceptance testing and ensure deficiencies are addressed
- Bachelor's in Engineering or a Diploma in Technology in a related field.
- 5 -8 years of experience in electrical engineering project experience
- Strong command of the English language (both written and verbal)
- Ability to develop and maintain strong personal relationships
- Working knowledge of Energy Services, Energy Storage, Power Generation or Renewables is considered an asset
- Experience with working on multiple projects simultaneously, along with associated time management and prioritization skills

- Preference given to Calgary or Edmonton based candidates; would consider remote work for candidates in AB, BC or SK.
