- Monitor the collection of data from every step of the mine operation cycle, including field preparation, drilling, explosives charging, blasting, excavation, hauling, dumping, dozing, and scaling.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data collection and recording in collaboration with mine operations, mobile maintenance, IT, and external vendors.
- Develop and maintain robust databases.
- Process data into insightful production metrics and clear visualizations.
- Evaluate production metrics against technical parameters, time, and spatial constraints to identify trends and bottlenecks and to propose corrective measures.
- Produce concise recommendations across short and medium-term time horizons.
- Collaborate with the operations, maintenance, and technical services teams to ensure accurate business forecasts.
- Advanced knowledge in statistics and data analysis.
- Proficiency in programming, databases, and information and communications technology.
- Strong spatial visualization ability.
- Positive attitude; self-motivated with demonstrated initiative.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
- Experience in mining, geology, or heavy industry is an asset.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, IT, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
