Mine Data Analyst

• Monitor the collection of data from every step of the mine operation cycle, including field preparation, drilling, explosives charging, blasting, excavation, hauling, dumping, dozing, and scaling.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of data collection and recording in collaboration with mine operations, mobile maintenance, IT, and external vendors.
• Develop and maintain robust databases.
• Process data into insightful production metrics and clear visualizations.
• Evaluate production metrics against technical parameters, time, and spatial constraints to identify trends and bottlenecks and to propose corrective measures.
• Produce concise recommendations across short and medium-term time horizons.
• Collaborate with the operations, maintenance, and technical services teams to ensure accurate business forecasts.

• Advanced knowledge in statistics and data analysis.
• Proficiency in programming, databases, and information and communications technology.
• Strong spatial visualization ability.
• Positive attitude; self-motivated with demonstrated initiative.
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis.
• Experience in mining, geology, or heavy industry is an asset.
