JOB SUMMARY:The Senior Manager, Marketing & Internal Communications role exists to drive strategic marketing and communication initiatives for Acorn in partnership with the business to enhance the SE Health’s strategy and growth across Canada. This role is responsible for developing the marketing and communication plans that align with organizational objectives, target key audiences, and deliver engagement. The Senior Marketing Manager collaborates across the organization to bring forward the compelling Acorn internal stories that drive understanding, collaboration and momentum.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops and implements comprehensive Acorn communication strategies that align with organizational goals and drive engagementIdentifies trends and gathers Acorn insights to inform strategic and operational planningCollaborates with marketing communications to ensure brand and communications consistency across all touchpoints and channelsOversees internal communications to optimize reach and impactCollaborates with internal teams to understand target audiences and build effective content that address audience insightsCreates key messages that align with the enterprise brand narrative, purpose and valuesPlays a leadership role, running Acorn SharePoint Hub(s) and establishing a network for collecting, optimizing and amplifying best practice communication strategies within SE HealthIdentifies opportunities and strategic re-positioning for Acorn projects based on feedbackLeads in driving SE Health’s Acorn presence at internal presentations and eventsOversee the development of marketing and communication materials specific to internal forums for maximum education and engagementProvides communication coaching and leadership support across Acorn projectsQUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related fieldRelevant certifications in Branding and/or Project Management are an assetMinimum of 7 years’ experience in Marketing or Communications in similar complex industry – direct Health Care, Government, Non-Profit/Charity experience valuableSpecialized knowledge in developing and executing internal communications with a focus on stakeholder management, change management, content development and strategic positioning.Experience in consulting, managing digital transformation and /or change management an assetStrong interpersonal skills for liaising with executive level stakeholders and external consultants to shape and refine communicationsOntario based with ability to work out of SE Markham office 2-3 times per monthWhy Join SE Health?
