- Develop national planting plans for all dealership locations to ensure regionally appropriate, low-maintenance, and visually consistent landscapes.
- Selecting plant species suited to local climate, soil profiles, and care requirements to optimize long-term plant health and sustainability.
- Create seasonal care schedules and maintenance guidelines to support facility managers in executing consistent, high-quality landscape care.
- Monitor plant health and diagnose pest, disease, and environmental issues to maintain attractive, resilient exterior spaces.
- Advise on irrigation, soil amendments, and fertilization strategies to enhance plant performance and reduce long-term maintenance needs.
- Support the design and enhancement of dealership landscapes to improve visual impact, functionality, and customer experience.
- Produce concept drawings, planting plans, and basic layout diagrams (AutoCAD or similar is an asset) to guide project execution accurately.
- Collaborate with design, construction, facilities, and dealership teams to ensure landscape plans align with site requirements and corporate goals.
- Recommend sustainable practices and native plant options to reduce environmental impact and lifecycle costs.
- Coordinate with contractors, nurseries, and maintenance providers to ensure landscaping services meet quality and brand standards.
- Review quotes and evaluate vendor performance to support cost-effective, high-quality project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to verify installation accuracy and maintenance quality across all locations
- Develop and maintain corporate landscape design guidelines to ensure consistency across all dealership properties.
- Ensure landscape designs reinforce Brandt’s image and enhance the customer experience across all retail environments.
- Support new builds, renovations, and expansions by providing landscape design input that aligns with corporate standards and operational needs.
- Diploma or degree in Horticulture, Landscape Design, Environmental Sciences, or a related field (e.g. Horticulture Technician, Bachelor of Horticulture Science).
- Min. 5 years of experience in horticulture, landscape maintenance, and/or design in a commercial setting in Canada.
- Strong plant knowledge across different Canadian climate zones.
- Experience preparing planting plans and layout concepts (hand-drawn or digital).
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and low-water landscaping.
- Experience working with multi-site organizations or commercial landscaping.
- Ability to work independently and travel to sites across Canada.
- Strong communication and project-coordination skills.
- Valid driver’s license.
