- Monitor inventory levels and velocity trends to proactively identify risk
- Translate inventory data into clear insights and recommendations for cross-functional partners
- Place purchase orders with vendors, including MOQ, optimization, and containerization considerations
- Reconcile discrepancies between planned and ordered inventory and coordinate resolution
- Manage channel allocation and inventory positioning to protect availability and revenue
- Manage inventory distribution and warehouse allocation to streamline parcel zones
- Support inventory transfers and rebalancing decisions across warehouse locations
- Support new product launches and SKU transitions by ensuring accurate inventory planning and system updates
- Monitor lead times, shipment ETAs, and potential delays, escalating risk when needed
- Collaborate with Fulfillment, Customer Service, and Sales teams to ensure accurate inventory messaging and delivery expectations
- Build working prototypes for team workflow automations to streamline day-to-day functions
- Contribute data and analysis to recurring planning cycles, executive updates, and other ad hoc initiatives
- Continuously stress-test and iterate on automations, reporting, controls, and processes to increase efficiency, accuracy and reduce manual work
- Bachelor’s degree in one of the following (or related field):
- Business (with a focus in Operations, Analytics, or Finance)
- Supply Chain Management
- Operations Management
- Data Science or Analytics
- Strong proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets
- Comfortable with complex formulas, pivot tables, data modeling, and scenario analysis
- Familiarity with Claude cowork and other AI workflow tools
- Familiarity with SKU-level inventory planning and replenishment logic
- High attention to detail and ability to reconcile discrepancies across systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cross-functional stakeholders
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Experience working with ERP or inventory systems
- Experience in furniture, durable goods, or multi-warehouse distribution environments
- Experience working with Purchase Orders, inbound shipments, and lead time management
- Working knowledge of SQL and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or similar
- Experience supporting DTC, Amazon, Enterprise, or Wholesale channels
- Exposure to S&OP processes or demand planning frameworks
- Experience managing inventory across multiple countries (US/Canada, multi-DCs)
