Seize the opportunity: take your next step with us and join our team.Distribution Supervisor (Full Time) - St. Laurent, QCPrimary PurposeLead the planning and execution of distribution activities within the assigned region, including fleet management, routing, scheduling, and planning of vehicles for product distribution. The incumbent is responsible for all distribution activities in the region and ensures the delivery of company products meets customer needs in compliance with Linde’s rules, regulations, and procedures.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop and implement optimal routing programs and/or collaborate with the planning teamImplement all distribution processes in accordance with Linde proceduresEnsure the transfer of best practices and the implementation of national initiativesManage distribution costs in line with agreed budgets and key performance indicators (KPIs)In collaboration with the National Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, ensure all trucks are properly maintained and represent Linde professionallyResponsible for adhering to the annual budget for expenses and labor across all regional sitesEnsure compliance with national safety codes and government regulations to achieve Linde’s goal of zero accidents and zero injuriesQualificationsEducation
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in the industrial/cryogenic gas industry preferred
ExperienceExperience working in a distribution environmentExperience managing delivery drivers is considered an assetKnowledge / Skills / AbilitiesKnowledge of Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulationsUnderstanding of trucking industry rules and regulationsKnowledge or training in emergency responseFamiliarity with databases and software such as JD Edwards, SharePoint, and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and interpersonal skills in both English and FrenchProven ability to positively influence in a team-oriented work environmentDetail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and prioritization skillsSelf-motivated with effective time management, strong organizational skills, ability to multitask and solve problemsKnowledge of cryogenic gases and liquefied carbon dioxide is an assetMust be fully vaccinated against COVID-19Linde has an extensive background check process which may include but is not limited to, a criminal background review, driver’s license and abstract review, reference checks, and employment verification.Linde Canada Inc. is committed to providing accommodations for people with disabilities.
