- The IMAC Deployment Technician is responsible for the installation, movement, addition, and change (IMAC) of end-user computing equipment across client sites.
- The role supports hardware deployments, refreshes, relocations, and decommissioning activities while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Install, move, add, and change desktops, laptops, monitors, docking stations, printers, and peripherals
- Perform workstation setups, relocations, and hardware refreshes - Disconnect, pack, transport, and reconnect IT equipment as required
- Ensure proper asset tagging, inventory updates, and documentation - Provide basic troubleshooting and support during deployment activities
- Coordinate with project leads and site contacts to meet deployment schedules - Follow client standards, security policies, and health & safety procedures.
- Hands-on experience with IMAC or deployment services
- Knowledge of desktop hardware, peripherals, and basic networking (LAN, cabling)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow deployment runbooks
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site and lift/move equipment as needed
