Position: Full-Time Program Coordinator
Location: Kelowna, Comox, or Trail, BC (3 Vacancies)
Salary: $61,000 per year to start
Hours: 35 hours/week
This position will require a flexible schedule working outside of office hours for on-call and operational requirements*Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is requiredSummary:Axis Family Resources Ltd. is recruiting a Full Time Program Coordinator in Kelowna, Comox, or Trail, BC location. The Program Coordinator will manage/support the Specialized Supportive Housing programs and Community Living Services.The Program Coordinator will provide direction to ensure that the goals and objectives of the organization are met; will also provide planning, coordination, administration of programs, and participate in the afterhours and on-call rotation. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for talent management such as participation in recruitment, performance management processes, supervision of staff, creation of staff schedules, and approval of time entry on IBEX system.   • ·Supervisory experience
  • A diploma in Community Services, Human Services, or other related discipline
  • At least 2 years' related work experience; Direct program delivery experience in the community social services sector with a demonstrated working knowledge of community-based programs and related provincial and community support is preferred
  • Clear Criminal Record Check (agency conducted, expenses covered)
  • Effective written and verbal communication
