Our client is looking for a Junior SAP PCO for an hybrid mandate. Candidate must be bilingual.Start date: 3 weeks from selection
End date: March 31, 2025
Location: Montreal or Winnipeg / 3 days onsiteProject description:
Greefield SAP Finance transformation project. Responsibilities:The Junior PCO will provide governance, guidance and analyses for the development, management, and control of PMO processes. He/she will work with the Project Management teams to maintain the Project Portfolio Management (PPM) solution, ensure quality of project updates, create portfolio reports and Key Performance Indicator presentations, and support project prioritization and project roadmap activities.The PMO Analyst will have the overall responsibility for PM templates, the SharePoint site and its administration.
  • Support the PMO’s ambition to provide the governance and tools to manage the implementation of IT solutions. This includes development and maintenance of standard project templates, creation of monthly Portfolio Report and project dashboards, and analysis of project and program trends
  • Provide project control support to ensure compliance and quality on project team reporting, including budgets, timelines, scope, progress, project health, risks and issues
  • Develop project communication plan to ensure timely dissemination of project information to sponsors and other stakeholders
  • Provide project budget management support, including creating and presenting periodic project budget reports
  • Provide backup/assistance to the Project Managers on vendor/partner management
  • Identify and help escalate project issues to ensure appropriate resolution
  • Demonstrate expertise in applying project management best practices and tools throughout the project lifecycle and promote the adoption of sound project management principles
  • Help ensure project management practices comply with corporate and regulatory policies and guidelines
  • Utilize the enterprise project management system, and applicable templates to prepare documentation as well as track and monitor project information. Participate in project audits as required
Required Skills:
  • A minimum of two (2) years prior experience in a similar role or project coordinator / project administrator / project office role
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Information Technology, Engineering, Business) or relevant/equivalent experience Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or the equivalent an asset or other equivalent/similar certification
  • Working knowledge of standard project management methodology, practices, and procedures (as defined by PMI)
  • Experience administering a PPM tool an asset
  • Embodies the client’s philosophies, vision, and values
  • Team player with effective interpersonal skills
  • Flexible, adaptable and ability to perform well under pressure
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Current knowledge of the technology industry and emerging trends
  • Expert in the use of PowerPoint and building presentations
  • Based on equal qualifications, preference will be given to a bilingual candidate Bilingualism (English and French) preferred
Must have Work Authorization for Canada.
