
Aircraft Maintenance Engineer - Project Supervisor

- Has overall responsibility for the project
- Review all Business Development provided planning documents (SharePoint)
- Has overall responsibility for the project risk log, monitoring risks & preventative actions daily
- Ensure the project Gantt chart & JIRA are always topical
- Ensure that the inspection & project plan is followed, and task completion rates are maintained
- Lead project induction meetings
- Lead customer induction meetings
- Communicate daily planning and resolve issues/recovery actions with the Hangar Operations Manager
- Arrange & manage daily progress meetings with crews & supporting functions
- Plan work with Production Controller
- Provide custom reports as required by the Senior Maintenance Manager
- Liaise with Canada Customs as required
- Provide alternate solutions to problems
- Monitor task hours & Key Performance Indicator's to remain within project targets
- Responsible for daily updating & approval of daily customer reports
- Ensure overages are monitored daily and actioned appropriately
- Review package closure & ensure all agreed costs recorded
- Organise and leads the post check review for improvement opportunities
- Responsible for the maintenance of corporate quality and safety standards
- Strive to meet contract requirements
- Work closely with the Supply Chain Management and Shops functions to ensure material supplies meet project needs
- Coordinate with all functions to ensure smooth delivery of services to meet projects needs
- Ensure Maintenance Customer Orders are closed within 48 hours of aircraft departure
- Create and promote a healthy, friendly and positive teamwork environment for all staff
- Ensure fair and equitable practices with regards to hiring, promoting and disciplinary decisions
- Ensure employee performance expectations are communicated and reviews carried out
- Work closely with and provides direction to Tech Support, Production Controller, Crews, Hangar Support & other staff as required
- Participate actively in improvement initiatives and promote innovation.
- Function as alternate Hangar Manager when required

- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Leadership role
- Detailed understanding of related financial processes
- Detailed understanding of related Quality Assurance processes
- Working knowledge of the types of aircraft supported by KF Aerospace
- Working knowledge of Transport Canada regulations as applicable
- Working knowledge of all KF Aerospace manuals and procedures
- Proficient in M3, Qlikview and MS Office Suite

- $100,000 - $125,000 annually (KF Level 14) plus ACA pay (if applicable). The expertise and technical skill level of the candidate is assessed during the selection process for placement within the band. Note: The salary range maximum signifies full job knowledge. Candidates are likely to start below the band maximum.
