- Leveraging your strong organizational skills, you will coordinate supporting activities related to Facilities projects and initiatives including scoping and preparation of project plans, conduct research, prioritize and follow up on action items, coordinate procurement of consultants and manage contracts and payments.
- Utilizing your superior administrative skills, you will provide support in the development, submission and maintenance of various project documents including review of monthly updates, control flow of approvals, maintain approval tracking, review and provide quality control of communications, documents and reporting.
- Provide logistical, organizational, and administrative assistance to the Director and various team members which includes but is not limited to scheduling project meetings, manage calendars, coordinate travel. prepare expense reports, agenda preparation, venue selection and meeting room set-up.
- Support business unit planning, tracking of business KPI, and documentation of plans and performance for team, senior leadership and board.
- Perform work in accordance with the provisions of the Canadian Blood Services' Corporate Health and Safety Policies and Procedures.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience related to the duties and responsibilities specified. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
- Post-secondary level education in a relevant discipline from a recognized academic institution, preferably in business, real estate or project management, is required.
- Experience successfully interacting and building credibility with senior managers and stakeholders.
- Experience in the project management lifecycle is required.
- Familiarity with supporting commercial real estate and capital projects is desirable.
- Experience in construction and facilities management is preferred.
- Experience with web-based technology including SharePoint and Microsoft Project is a definite asset.
- Experience with Power BI and creating data visualizations is an asset.
