- Lead the strategic development, execution and ongoing optimization of paid search and social media campaigns across all of our accounts;
- Review analytics to identify performance trends and actionable opportunities;
- Actively manage paid campaign budgets and the allocation of budgets, balancing audience demand opportunities with volume and profitability;
- Assist with the development of ad copy, and actively split-test for performance improvements;
- Provide weekly performance results and insights to internal stakeholders;
- Collaborate with regional marketing teams to ensure alignment of messaging and initiative focus;
- Manage, update, and distribute forecasts and search demand analysis;
- Ensure paid search and social best practices are employed;
- Stay on top of industry trends and platform/provider updates while evaluating opportunities for innovation;
- Conduct keyword research to ensure both positive and negative keyword lists are optimized for success;
- Optimize paid search programs through the testing of various performance levers such as ad copy, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywords etc.
- Expand the visibility and working knowledge of SEM across the organization through presenting and communicating SEM best practices, core findings and emphasizing each channel's importance in the marketing mix.
- Actively participate in team meetings to drive improvements to campaign performance and overall website metrics;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Formal training/certification in a computer-related discipline.
- 1-3 years of Digital Advertising experience.
- Google AdWords and Bing Certifications, with an accompanying proven track record managing large, complex Search Engine Marketing campaigns.
- Social Media Campaign Experience
- Ability to write effective, error-free ad copy.
- Data-driven mindset, and proficiency with Google Analytics, as well as emerging data collection and reporting tools.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organization and project management skills.
- Driven yet collaborative - you work well in an engaged, busy team environment.
- Savvy and up-to-date with current paid search marketing practices.
- Proactive, organized, and results-driven.
- Other programming and analytical tool exposure is an asset.
- Automotive industry knowledge is an asset.
