- Support the organization's day-to-day global trade compliance activities, ensuring adherence to all applicable regulatory and procedural requirements as required.
- Conduct research and provide guidance on key import compliance functions, including HTS classification, country of origin determination, valuation, duty recovery, and related regulatory considerations.
- Research, evaluate, and analyze opportunities for process improvement to enhance compliance, efficiency, and operational performance.
- Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams to facilitate compliant and efficient cross-border operations.
- Contribute to the planning, execution, and maintenance of trade compliance projects, programs, and continuous-improvement initiatives as required.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in global trade compliance or customs operations, preferably within a complex import/export environment.
- Experience in the apparel or textile sector-within a retail organization, customs brokerage, or consulting firm-is considered an asset.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality results.
- Hands-on experience preparing and submitting customs adjustments and communicating with government authorities, demonstrating accuracy and regulatory understanding.
- Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced) with the ability to analyze and manipulate large sets of data
- Prior experience with a Global Trade Management Platform (GTMP) and professional trade certifications (CCS, CTCS, or Licensed Customs Broker) are considered assets.

The typical hiring range for this position is from $66,000 - $86,600 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
