We currently have a full-time opportunity for a Devops Developer. This role is based out of our offices in Stellarton, NS.Here’s where you’ll be focusing:Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for application development and infrastructure provisioning.
- Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Automate and optimize deployment processes across development, staging, and production environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance DevOps processes and tools for performance and reliability.
- Ensure systems meet high standards for security, scalability, and compliance.
- Support containerized workloads using Azure RedHat OpenShift, Container apps and Kubernetes on cloud platforms.
- Champion DevOps culture across the organization and guide continuous improvement initiatives.
- Platform Administration on DevOps related tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Agile Place and more.
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, information systems, or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in IT.
- Technical knowledge of a variety of cloud platforms, CI/CD deployment technologies and cloud services.
- Experience managing projects and CI/CD build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.
- Experience in cloud automation development and deployment.
- Experience working within an agile team environment preferred.
- Retail industry experience preferred.
- Platform specific certifications such as AZ 900 (Azure Fundamentals).
