- Assist a major project delivery team with document control management utilizing Aconex, the electronic data management system (EDMS) tool that has been selected for the project.
- As the ideal candidate, you are an excellent communicator with effective organizational skills, capable of efficiently managing multiple tasks while meeting critical deadlines.
- Your abilities will be strengthened through your exposure to a variety of engineering disciplines and subconsultants.
- The position will also provide you with autonomy as you will be required to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- A diploma in office administration or equivalent years of experience in supporting information management, engineering, and/or project management.
- Experience in large scale projects is an asset.
- Experience working with an EDMS such as Aconex, SharePoint, Google, ProjectWise and/or Procore is an asset.
- Familiarity with the different types of documentation and quality processes required in project delivery. This would include the stages of design drawings, specifications, certifications, procedures, reporting, technical submittals, etc.
- Experience in project turnover and close-out is an asset.
- Ability to implement and manage the selected EDMS to ensure secure access, version control, and integrity of documents throughout their lifecycle.
- Knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015, Quality Management Systems, and auditing experience are assets.
- Ability to develop and provide training to staff and stakeholders regarding processes and systems.
- Proficiency in the MS Office software suite, including advanced Excel skills (for example, the ability to use pivot tables, hyperlinks, and advanced formulas).
- Experience working with Primavera or other scheduling software is an asset.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines, on time-sensitive activities.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
