- Assist and prepare materials for receiving unloading trucks and checking in
- Match incoming and outgoing product with purchase orders.
- Verify shipping products expiration codes.
- Inspect product to ensure good condition.
- Operate Pallet Jack in a safe manner to move product that must be received or
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area and
for orderliness always.
- May be required to assist with scheduling freight appointments.
- May lift cases of product and/or stock merchandise according to documented
- Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and
- Create a daily shipment schedule.
- Track shipments and verify receipts of shipments as required.
- Maintains inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, amounts of
counting of physical inventory
- Sort and place materials or items on rack, shelves or in bins according to
- Perform quality audits of the condition of goods for outgoing items prior to signing
- Report discrepancies to immediate supervisor.
- Follow current standards and procedures.
- Ensure that shipments contain proper documentation and if there are multiple
- Problem solve for any cases of missing documents, shipments, and deliveries.
- Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety
- Make deliveries with a company vehicle as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- 2-3 years’ experience as warehouse worker role preferred.
- Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting at least 50 lbs.
- Able to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to weigh and measure items.
- Working knowledge of safe lifting methods.
- Must have steel toed boots.
- Able to work efficiently as a part of a team as well as independently.
- Computer literacy, including working skills of Excel and e-mail.
- Attention to detail in all areas of work.
- Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
- Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals.
- Overtime as required.
- Lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. may be required.
