About The RoleWe are looking for an Operations Standards Specialist to cover a one year maternity leave. This position supports the Ontario region and aims to foster and develop operational efficiencies for both new and existing practices with a focus on evoking standardization across the respective region such as workflow compliance, Epic data integrity and overall use of our Broker Management System. In addition, this position also supports M&A activity and other key initiatives as they arise in the region.What You’ll DoApplied Epic specialist for the Ontario Region. Respond to regional Operations team enquiries specific to Epic and other third-party applications. This would include assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT) for Epic upgradesWork with the Manager of Operations & Training to identify training needs to develop appropriate material, delivery method and scheduling, etc.Work with the Operations Process Coordinator and Hub Enterprise Applications to facilitate Epic script changesLog, escalate and approve IT requests for structure access or changesConsult and assist with Broker Standards and Operational efficiencies projects put forth by the businessInvestigate/Advocate/Implement third party software, add-ons and Epic functionality to improve operational efficiencies through RFP and industry conferencesProvide hands on understanding, guidance and support for new enterprises and regional solutionsProvide M&A support for both migration planning and Go-Live in Epic, as they occurPerform additional ad hoc duties as assigned.Consult and assist with Broker Standards and Operational efficiencies projects put forth by the businessProvide support for Corporate File AuditsQualifications and expertise that pave the way for SuccessCollege Diploma or University DegreeMinimum 3 years of experience within the insurance industry; Applied Epic knowledge is a must.Resilient and adaptable, with the capacity to thrive in a continuously evolving environmentHybrid working situation.
