- Technical Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the long-term technical vision and strategy for our front-end applications (both mobile and web), aligning with business goals and industry trends.
- Architecture & Design: Lead the architectural design and development of complex, high-performance front-end applications using React Native and Angular. Make critical decisions on technology, frameworks, and patterns to ensure scalability and maintainability.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Act as a technical mentor and force-multiplier for the front-end engineering team. Coach senior and intermediate engineers, foster a culture of technical excellence, and lead by example through hands-on code contributions.
- Performance & Streaming Optimization: Lead efforts to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across our front-end platforms. Architect robust solutions for handling high-frequency, real-time data streaming to ensure a responsive user experience on our trading applications.
- Best Practices & Quality: Establish and govern front-end engineering best practices, including code quality, component libraries, state management, testing strategies, CI/CD, and cross-platform development.
- Innovation & Research: Spearhead research, prototyping, and the adoption of new front-end technologies and frameworks to solve business problems and keep our platform modern and competitive.
- AI Adoption & Innovation: Champion the exploration and integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and technologies to enhance developer productivity and improve application features. Support the adoption of AI best practices within the engineering squads.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, UX designers, architects, and other engineering leaders to influence the product roadmap and ensure seamless integration across our platform.
- Problem Solving: Tackle the most complex technical challenges in the front-end domain, including performance, cross-platform compatibility, and state management at scale.
