
Senior Scheduler - Procurement

- Develop and maintain detailed procurement schedules that align with project timelines and bid submission requirements.
- Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams during bid phases to define procurement timelines, identify long-lead items, and ensure bid deliverables align with proposed construction schedules.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Engineering, and Construction teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods and services.
- Monitor and report on procurement lead times, approval durations, fabrication periods, and delivery logistics throughout both bid and execution phases.
- Identify procurement-related risks during bid development and provide schedule mitigation strategies.
- Support tendering and proposal submissions by contributing time-based insights and procurement deliverables.
- Maintain schedule documentation for both live projects and bids, including trackers, procurement logs, and progress dashboards.
- Archive procurement assumptions and timelines used during preconstruction phases for future reference.
- Interface with buyers, estimators, package leads, and vendors to align bid-phase and project-phase procurement activities.
- Help develop logistics and delivery schedules that integrate with construction sequencing and milestones.
- Work independently to develop and manage procurement schedules during both pursuit and execution stages of infrastructure projects.
- Utilize Primavera P6, Tilos, MS Project, or equivalent tools to model dependencies, lead times, and bid submission deadlines.
- Communicate across estimating, procurement, construction, and leadership teams to ensure procurement strategies are well-coordinated and aligned.
- Provide schedule inputs and updates for proposal documentation, project reviews, and executive reporting.
- Other duties as assigned related to scheduling, procurement, bids, and project controls.
- Excellent understanding of procurement and tendering lifecycles.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on preconstruction deliverables.
- Effective communicator with the ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive, solutions-driven, and comfortable working in deadline-driven environments.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement scheduling or project controls for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience supporting bids and tendering processes, with a solid understanding of procurement timelines and commercial proposal development.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, Tilos, MS Project, and relevant procurement/scheduling tools.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field.
