Forbes Bros Ltd. is looking for Laborers (full-time, temporary) to join our team supporting a remote project based out of Pelican Narrows, Saskatchewan. This project is anticipated for completion in March 2026.The Laborer will be responsible for assisting other crew members in day-to-day tasks inclusive of but not limited to operating small equipment and tools to complete tasks, carrying and moving materials as needed and other additional tasks and duties as assigned.Forbes Bros Ltd. has a family-oriented culture that focuses on flexibility, communication, growth & respect in the workplace. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
  • Digging and back-filling trenches
  • Pulling and placing underground and overhead cables
  • Carrying and moving materials as needed
  • Operating small equipment and hand tools
  • Spotting for vehicles and equipment
  • Site setup and cleanup, ensuring trash, debris and other potentially dangerous materials from the construction site are removed
  • Assisting craft/crew members with work as directed
  • Following instruction and adhering to safe work practices
  • Development of skills on varied and challenging tasks
  • Performing additional labourer tasks and duties as assigned
Candidate Requirements:
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in a team to efficiently and effectively complete jobs within deadlines
  • Able and willing to travel to remote camp site
  • Able and willing to accommodate frequent overtime hours and weekend hours in alignment with project needs
  • Able and willing to perform manual labour in varying weather conditions and environments inclusive of heavy lifting
  • Able and willing to undergo Pre-Access D&A testing as per project/site requirements
