We are currently seeking a dedicated Buyer to play a crucial role in managing all purchasing activities, ensuring the timely acquisition and delivery of products to our valued customers.   • Salary: $65,000 (negotiable)
  • Full-time: 40 hours per week
  • Permanent position

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage purchasing activities across various product categories or supplier groups
  • Send purchase orders to suppliers and monitor delivery schedules
  • Update purchase orders with supplier-announced deadlines
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels by managing ERP system parameters (min-max order quantities)
  • Propose solutions for disposing of obsolete inventory
  • Request quotes as needed and evaluate supplier consolidation opportunities
Qualifications:
  • DEC in Administration or Supply Management, or equivalent
  • AEC in Supply Management, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in purchasing and supply
Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis capabilities
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
Personal Attributes:
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
