Responsibilities
The incumbent lawyer would be responsible for a wide range of sophisticated commercial disputes, both independently and in alongside the other members of the team. These matters include shareholder and partnership disputes, general breaches of contract, class actions, regulatory defense matters, and more. The team makes regular appearances at all levels of court, and therefore the incoming lawyer would need the skills and temperament for trial work.Qualifications
  • Be called to the BC Bar and be in good standing.
  • 3 - 5+ years of post call experience. Emphasis of practice on commercial disputes highly preferred
  • Be comfortable with a 1700 billable target
