- Generate and process accurate invoices for customers based on provided data and billing information.
- Maintain up-to-date records of invoices and customer information in the billing system.
- Verify the accuracy of billing data and resolve any discrepancies or errors before issuing invoices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide suggestions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of billing operations.
- Stay updated on billing policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams, such as Sales, Dispatch and Accounts Payable, to gather necessary information for billing purposes.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing issues, discrepancies, or payment options in a professional and timely manner.
- Prior experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar role.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, and ability to quickly learn new software.
- Strong problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Highly organized, with an ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Effective communication skills to interact with customers and internal team members.
- Experience with Verisae Platform
- Experience or familiarity with service billing processes
