- Develop, maintain, and update an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to align with program objectives, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with project management, engineers, and cross-functional teams to define project tasks, timelines, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Monitor schedule performance and progress, identifying risks, delays, and opportunities for schedule optimization.
- Support risk management activities by proactively identifying potential issues, forecasting delays, and recommending corrective actions or schedule adjustments.
- Conduct risk assessments, including the preparation and execution of Monte Carlo simulations to evaluate schedule reliability.
- Provide regular updates to project management and stakeholders on schedule status, changes, and any potential issues.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate updates to schedules and related documentation.
- Prepare and distribute progress reports, dashboards, and other relevant metrics to leadership and stakeholders.
- Assist with various ad hoc project management tasks to ensure program success.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent training and experience).
- 3 years of experience in program or project scheduling, preferably within an aerospace, defense, or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as Microsoft Project, Primavera, or similar software.
- Strong understanding of scheduling principles, including Critical Path Method (CPM), Earned Value Management (EVM), and dependency management.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data visualization tools, and other relevant software.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate across diverse teams and organizational levels.
- Certification in scheduling or project management such as PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP), or Project Management Professional (PMP) is desirable.
- Familiarity with ForProject and Barbecana Full Monte is a plus.
- Knowledge of government contracting and defense industry standards is an asset.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
