As a Clinical Dietitian , you will be part of the clinical nutrition department supporting patient-centered care. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, compassion, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Clinical Dietitian Location: Nanaimo, BC Pay Range: $29-33/hr Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, with a half-hour unpaid break.What's the Job?
Provide comprehensive nutrition care to patients, ensuring their nutritional needs are met effectively.
Maintain accurate and complete documentation related to patients' nutritional status.
Plan and implement activities related to resident and patient nutrition care, adhering to organizational and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver unified and effective patient care.
Support hospital and outpatient settings, working across patient rooms, kitchens, and service areas.
What's Needed?
At least 2 years of clinical practice experience in nutrition or dietetics.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, with coursework approved by relevant nutrition and dietetics agencies.
Current certifications, registrations, licenses, or credentials required for practice in the location.
Ability to complete required background checks, including criminal record, vulnerable sector check, TB screening, and COVID-19 vaccination documentation.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in busy hospital and outpatient environments.
