How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Report to the Agile Team Lead, Analytics and Business Intelligence.
  • Support the team of Analysts on initiatives in facilitating the transformation of data into analytics and supporting the presentation of findings to all levels of AMA leadership.
  • Work closely with business leaders across multiple business lines to document clear project requirements based on in-depth knowledge and understanding of business strategy, priorities, and processes.
  • Perform analysis for a wide range of requests using data from various platforms.
  • Actively partner with business leaders and customers in providing advice stemming from data and process analysis taken from internal and external sources.
  • Facilitate the transformation of data into critical knowledge and insights which can be used to make sound business decisions.
  • Create and present concise, audience-appropriate, actionable communications characterized by their strategic insight.
  • Provide input to the development of performance metrics, reporting formats and dashboards.
  • Maintain accurate and timely delivery of production deliverables.
  • Maintain and verify data is within required quality standards.
What You Bring to the Table
  • You have a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Management or something similar.
  • Have experience with Agile/Scrum? Even better.
  • Strong understanding of the businesses and their strategies that enables them to validate results and identify critical issues.
  • You have at least five (5) years of data analysis or related technical experience under your belt. Along with significant database querying (SQL) data analysis and visualization experience. Knowledge of Python or R highly desirable.
  • Do you have specialized training/certification or equivalent work experience? Tell us about it and why it’s relevant to your career as a Business Data Analyst.
