Job Requisition ID #24WD77326Position OverviewAutodesk, the leading Design and Make Software Company, is looking for a Principal Site Reliability Engineer to join the Autodesk Platform Services Engineering team in Toronto, Canada. On this position, you will help build trusted services of APS (Autodesk Platform Services) as measured by Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and Mean Time to Recovery (MTTR), which powers Autodesk SaaS applications in industries of manufacturing, architecture, engineering and construction, media and entertainment with efficient and flexible data management capabilities.You will report to Senior Manager, Software Development in Toronto, OntarioThis role is hybrid. Autodesk supports FLEX working model.Over 10 million professionals in 185 countries are using Autodesk products to save time and money, gain competitive advantage, and change the way ideas are brought to life.ResponsibilitiesConfigure, improve cloud infrastructure for service availability, resiliency, performance, and cost efficiency with increasing load time over timeKeep system updated for security complianceImprove the process including service review, fire drills and HA assessment to make sure the SLOs of the servicesEngage in technical discussions and technical decision-makingBuild tools to improve operation efficiencyTroubleshoot for technical issues and find appropriate solutionsPerform on-call rotation for in-time service recovery to guarantee the health of the production systemWork together with other engineers in the scrum team in an Agile practiceMinimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related field; such as Computer Science or related technical field5+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 3 year working experience as an Site Reliability Engineer accountable for SLOsExperience with deployment and development on AWS (desired) or AzureExperience in Continuous Delivery methodologies and toolsGood knowledge on resiliency patterns and cloud securityExperience troubleshooting issues with users and teamwork spiritPreferred QualificationsExperience with TerraformExperience with SOC2Learn MoreAbout Autodesk
