We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RoleReporting to the senior director, integrated contractor strategy and lifecycle optimization, you will design, build and implement the contractor lifecycle process utilizing the process-based management methodology for all Cameco locations.In this role, you will:
  • Monitor the contractor lifecycle process, including onboarding, access management, work requirements and offboarding.
  • Look for and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Lead a community of practice comprised of key stakeholders.
  • Work directly with our operations, supply chain management and technical services to understand current and forecasted contracted services requirements.
  • Influence stakeholders to improve KPI and process performance.
  • Ensure that Cameco's contractor lifecycle process will meet the company's future demands for growth.
  • There is potential for this role to manage the contractor service centre that will ensure appropriate training requirements have been placed on the contracted individuals based on their scope of work, ensure that all training requirements and qualifications are met prior to work starting, and ensure offboarding is completed properly.
Required:
  • bachelor's degree in business or a related field;
  • a minimum of eight years of relevant work experience;
  • equivalent combination of education and work experience considered.
Recommended:
  • extensive knowledge of Fieldglass software;
  • knowledge of different aspects of the mining/nuclear industry;
  • experience using SAP S4 Hana;
  • excellent communication and facilitation skills.
