Job Type: RegularThe Industrial Mechanic will work mainly in the ice cream production rooms, trouble shooting, performing preventative maintenance work and repairs, looking after the refrigeration system and boilers, and also perform maintenance work in the warehouse.To qualify for this position, the successful applicant must be a Licensed Industrial Mechanic and be able to obtain a 2nd Class Refrigeration, 4th Class Stationary Engineering certificates, if not already qualified.Invest in you, Join Agropur. What’s involved in this role:
  • Maintained to minimize unplanned downtime due to mechanical breakdowns;
  • Install, maintain, trouble shoot and repair filling equipment such as conveyor belts, fans, pumps and motors in a efficient and safe manner within the Truro facility.
  • Install, dismantle or move equipment according to blueprint or layout.
  • Adjust machinery, repair or replace defective parts
Performs preventive maintenance tasks. * Operate equipment for testing.
  • Performs tasks in a safe manner.
  • Complete required documentation.
What you need to join our team:
  • Industrial Mechanics Journeyman Certificate.
  • Ability to work shift work.
