To support this journey, we're hiring a hands-on, action-driven Material Manager to take our Canadian operations to the next level.

Reports to: President, EMPWR CanadaWhat You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and Issue Purchase Orders, Oversee Logistics, and Receiving of Orders
  • Negotiate Pricing and Supply Agreements, Manage and Strengthen Supplier Relationships
  • Coordinate Closely with Production and Planning to Meet Daily Material Needs
  • Maintain Inventory Record Accuracy and the WMS System, Investigate Inventory Variances
  • Investigate and Resolve Order Discrepancies, Ensure Regulatory and Quality Compliance
  • Monitor Market Trends, Identify Supply Risks and Opportunities
  • Conduct Routine Inventory Cycle Counts and Spot Checks
  • Manage Warehouse Efficiency, FIFO and other Related Good Practices
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in food supply chain management
  • Bachelor's degree in food management
  • Experience working in a Small & Medium-sized Enterprise
  • Comfortable in both strategic discussions and hands-on execution
  • Bilingual (English/French)

  • Essential - 5+ years of experience in food supply chain management
  • Essential - Bachelor's degree in food management
