- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations.
- Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Process payroll and ensure accuracy of deductions and remittances.
- Prepare and submit statutory filings (HST, payroll remittances, WSIB, etc.).
- Assist with T4 and year-end reporting requirements.
- Ensure compliance with municipal, provincial, and federal tax regulations.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to management.
- Identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain organized financial documentation (digital and physical).
- Ensure proper record retention in accordance with regulations.
- Coordinate with external accountants and auditors as required.
- Work closely with management and administrative staff.
- Provide financial updates and insights for decision-making.
- Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
- Education: Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks (or similar accounting software) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian tax regulations and payroll processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
