Your strong relationship-building and project management skills will enable you to guide strategy, deliver complex initiatives and continuously improve program outcomes.If you are a collaborative, strategic thinker who thrives in a national, cross-functional environment and are motivated by making a meaningful impact in communities, this might be the role for you!What you’ll doLead the evolution and execution of the national Drive Away Hunger initiative and contribute to broader Community Investment strategiesBuild and manage partnerships related to food security and FLW across the Canadian ag and food and food security charity sectorsIdentify emerging trends, gaps and opportunities in food security and FLW to inform strategy and initiativesOversee and report on food security and FLW initiatives, success measures and outcomesProvide informal leadership, coaching and training to Community Investment team membersMaintain strong internal and external relationships to support organizational goalsWhat you’ll bring to the teamRequired qualifications:A degree in marketing; environmental, social and governance (ESG); public relations, or communicationsAt least five years of experience in community investment, ESG or a related fieldExtensive knowledge and experience in community investment programs and practicesProven expertise in food security and food loss and waste initiativesDemonstrated ability to lead complex, national initiatives and manage projectsAdvanced proficiency in both official languages (English and French)Preferred qualifications:Experience working with ESG, industry relations, Indigenous relations, communications, brand, media and operationsExperience in government, a Crown Corporation or a corporate environmentKnowledge of the ag and food industryKnowledge of ESG trends related to food security and food loss and wasteNot sure you meet every requirement?
