- Collaborate with the design, production, purchasing, and quality assurance teams, as well as suppliers, throughout the various stages of the product development process.
- Be involved in cabin research and development activities and participate in the evaluation of materials under development.
- Develop cabinet, mechanism, and system components from concept to final prototype.
- Define and design the configuration of cabin systems.
- You are familiar with aircraft interior system specifications and design.
- Improve prototype concepts through the process of iteration, testing, and design review.
- Conduct studies, analyses, and calculations to guide designer, technicians and project managers in their work using general and specific technical parameters.
- Work on the development, design, and testing of various mechanical/electrical systems.
- You have a university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- You have more than 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the field of business aircraft interior finishing and systems.
- You have experience in the design and/or integration of mechanical-electrical systems;
- You understand the fundamentals of a product's engineering structure as well as certification rules;
- You are highly motivated to take on challenges and determined to achieve results, bringing strong technical skills, an understanding of manufacturing processes, and a good problem-solving approach.
- You possess a creative approach that aligns with Bombardier's design and innovation philosophy: highly innovative and functional in order to exceed our customers' expectations.
- You have knowledge of Catia and NX design software is an asset;
- You are recognized for your ingenuity, versatility, and agility.
- You are comfortable working with minimal supervision, you enjoy teamwork, and you have good project organization skills.
- You are an excellent collaborator and team player.
- You are bilingual in French and English (an asset).
