Must Have Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of production-level experience in .NET (C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+, ASP.NET Web API, Entity Framework).
  • Expertise in Backbase digital banking platform integration and extension.
  • Proficiency in RESTful Web Services and APIs (JSON, XML).
  • Experience with Microservices architecture and unit testing using .NET testing frameworks (e.g., xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest).
  • Hands-on knowledge of web servers and hosting environments (e.g., Kestrel, IIS, or cloud-native app services).
  • Familiarity with Git or similar source control tools.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns and modern .NET messaging frameworks (e.g., MassTransit, MediatR).
  • Experience developing large-scale distributed systems.
  • Experience with SaaS platforms or Service-Oriented Architectures (SOA).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience in handling sensitive data security.
  • Good knowledge of SQL.
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience with FinTech or working with financial services, credit unions, or banks.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
  • Knowledge of TDD and Continuous Integration (CI) processes.
  • Awareness of OWASP best practices for secure code.
  • Experience with Hibernate or other persistence frameworks.
  • Strong database experience (MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure.
  • Expertise in Backbase digital banking platform integration and extension.
Location
This is a 100% remote, full-time position; however, candidates must be based in Canada.CompensationThe typical salary range for this position is: CAD $90K-$120K annually. Salary offered will be based on skills, experience, and market data.
